This will just be a hodge-podge of things. I'm watching Glee while I write, so this may be random. How great is this show!? I liked it last year, but I think it is even better this time around. No sophomore slump.
This weekend I went to a little shop called the Giant Peach and got Harper a really cute dress for Easter. Yes, I know it is 6 months away. Trust me, I know how far away April is...ha! But, they had all of their spring and summer clothes half off, so I scooped up this adorable smocked dress. I also got her a Big Sister book to start reading, and Brian found her a Redskins ("yuck" from me) pillowcase dress. I'm going to make her a Halloween pillowcase dress this week.
This is what Harper thought to do with her new dress. She ran around like this for a good 10 minutes.
She does like her new book, though. She picked it out for Brian to read tonight. It is actually a really good book. Harper is obsessed with babies lately, so I think that's why she likes it so much.
I just love fall. I know I keep saying that, but I really do. It went from 90 to 60 here in a couple of weeks. So, Harper and I went out to get her some clothes yesterday and the girl hit the jackpot. We picked up a couple of cute sweaters, pants, and long-sleeved tops. I really like her in black and white-no surprise there, Kris-and she was so cute this morning. Look at that smile!
I had an OBGYN appointment for blood testing this morning and I had to get a weight check. Ugh-do they have to do that every time? I'm definitely gaining. My mom pointed out to me today that I'm becoming obsessed with food. She's right. She's REALLY right. My recent thoughts have been on the Pioneer Woman's apple sausage dressing recipe, pecan pie muffins, pizza, and a Potbelly meatball sub. So, I'll leave
you myself with those to drool over.
